Hygiene & Preventative Care

Routine dental cleanings and exams are very important to the health of your teeth and gums.

Emergency Care

Caring for our patients with dental emergencies is a priority. We make every effort to see patients with dental emergencies the same day.

A crown (also known as a cap) covers, supports and protects an existing tooth that has been weakened by decay, a large filling or a root canal, or is already broken. Crowns build the existing tooth back to its normal shape and size, and can be made of gold, alloy or full porcelain.

It is important to always keep the tooth underneath the crown healthy. Crowns provide full coverage and protection to the tooth underneath them, but it is important to keep the bone and gum healthy that supports the tooth and prevent decay that can occur at the crown margin near the gum line.

Visit our before & after gallery for examples of porcelain veneers and crowns.

If you’re missing one or more teeth, you may notice a difference in chewing and speaking. A bridge, also known as a fixed bridge or a fixed partial denture replaces missing teeth by literally bridging the gap where one or more teeth are missing. Bridges are can be made of gold, alloys, or porcelain and are cemented into place and are not removed by the patient. The success of a bridge depends on its foundation. Techniques for flossing and cleaning fixed bridges are simple and important to the health of the teeth supporting the bridge.

An implant bridge is a type of bridge that functions the same way as a traditional fixed bridge, but its support is derived from implants placed into the jaw and not natural teeth.

Removable Partials and Dentures

Removable partials and dentures are a type of prosthesis that replaces missing teeth by attaching replacement teeth to gum/tissue-colored acrylic bases with or without a metal framework. These are to be taken out by the patient to clean and are not to be worn at night.

Root Canals

New technology has made root therapy outcomes more predictable and appointment times shorter. We can now complete most root canals in one appointment, and if the tooth requires a crown it can be prepped the same day.
